We're closed for Xmas week - back on 30th Dec!

It's one of the highlights of the year for Sheffield's riding scene; a great way to kick off the new racing season and a good laugh for everyone involved. This is the third time Howard Street has run, and Airdrop has grown with it. Back in 2017 Airdrop was almost unknown but that changed when Brett took the inaugural win aboard his custom build Edit v1 Dual bike.
You can read a bit more about the dual bike on our original post from 2017.
The format is simple: racers go head-to-head in an elimination format. Each round consists of two runs and the quickest overall goes through. With a run lasting around 30 seconds over stair-sets, wooden features and flat grassy turns there's tonnes of action and plenty of great vintage points to watch the racing unfold.
Brett took the win riding for Airdrop in 2017, and was narrowly beaten in the 2018 final by Steve. Should be interesting to see how things play out this year...
As usual we'll be there for the whole day. Look out for the Airdrop EZ-up near the bottom of the course. We'll have a couple of Edit v3 prototypes to drool over plus a Bitmap and a Fade. It's usually a super busy day but come and say hi and if you've got an interest in any of the bikes, we'll be there to answer your questions.
Obviously the best thing to do is to get down to Howard Street on Saturday! It's free, easy to get to and everyone is welcome. There will be music, coffee, food, beer; all the makings of a great day out. For anyone not familiar with Sheffield's city centre, here's a map:
Live Stream: If you can't make it on the day, there's a live-stream of the race available on YouTube (live on Saturday 23rd March at 16:50pm).
