What's New?
With every batch of frames, we look for opportunities to improve. The Edit MX Core has the same frame, but we're offering a new matte powder-coat finish called Elastoplast, paired with a hard black anodised rocker and hardware. Yes, there's still a Raw option - this is an Airdrop bike after all. The drivetrain is GX Eagle Mechanical drivetrain which just works. We've added the new Zeb Ultimate RC2 fork with Charger 3.1 damper, and the brakes are upgraded to Maven Silver, for true DH stopping power. The wheels are now Reserve 30HD AL rims laced to DT350 hubs (Fillmore valves and tubeless included). Tyres come courtesy of Maxxis, with Assegai Maxx Grip up front and DHRII Maxx Terra out back. Now you know why we call it the Core build.

Choosing the right spring rate is key to getting the most out of a coil shock. Work out your total rider weight - including your normal riding kit - then use this chart to choose a spring. You can use the shock's preload adjuster to do the fine tuning later.
These spring rates are calculated based on the Edit's kinematics. Even if you're used to running coil shocks on other bikes, you may need to check the right spring for the Edit. These calculations are based on 30% sag. On the Edit's 205mm shock length, 30% sag measures at 187mm eye-to-eye.

We offer dropper post lengths in 10mm increments from 160-240mm. Maximising drop length for your saddle height is important to get the most out of your bike. With different seat tube and post lengths, insertion depths and drop lengths to consider, it can be tricky. So we've put together a handy guide to help you choose.
To understand your saddle height, measure your current bike from BB centre to saddle rails in mm. Then compare that measurement to the chart below to identify the best drop legth for your Edit frame size.

Things to consider
The Edit full builds come with a 165mm crank, so if the bike you're used to has longer cranks, factor that in. Saddle height is also affected by your choice of saddle, pedals and even shoes. We've built a margin into the advice in the chart so that you'll have room to go up or down if necessary.
