The Slacker frame is now available with the 2025 Rockshox Vivid Air Ultimate shock delivering 200mm butter-smooth travel. Built to maximise downhill capability, the Vivid is an air shock with coil-like suppleness. The new TouchDown RC2T damper has improved sensitivity and suppleness off the top whilst offering support through the travel. We spec the optional, adjustable hydraulic bottom-out feature. There's rebound adjustment, independent high and low speed compression adjustment, and a Threshold lever for added pedalling efficiency.
The frame has a 56mm diameter head tube, which enables us to provide a reach-adjust headset, which means you can run each frame size in three different reach dimensions. There's a tried and tested threaded bottom bracket shell, 200mm brake mount and a UDH compatible rear end. A brushed alloy head badge, CNC seat clamp, axle and our dedicated Silencer chainstay protector completes the package.

As with all our bikes, sizing advice is based on rider height, but the Slacker is a little different. All sizes have the same seat-tube length, which means you can choose your size based on the reach dimension alone, without having to compromise elsewhere. And remember, when using a dual-crown fork you'll have the option to use the reach-adjust headset to fine-tune reach by +/- 5mm on each size.

Choosing the right spring rate is key to getting the most out of a coil shock. Work out your total rider weight - including your normal riding kit - then use this chart to choose a spring. You can use the shock's preload adjuster to do the fine tuning later.
These spring rates are calculated based on the Slacker's kinematics. Even if you're used to running coil shocks on other bikes, you may need to check the right spring for the Slacker. These calculations are based on 25% sag and a 60% rear / 40% front weight bias. On the Slacker's 225mm shock length, 25% sag measures at 206mm eye-to-eye.
