Preorder your Airdrop Edit

18 months ago Airdrop Bikes was just a big ambition, and the Edit was little more than a sketch on a piece of paper. Now it's tried, tested and in production. We're taking pre-orders. You could be one of the first 100 riders in the world to own one.

It has been a long, hard road to get here. We'll spare you the gory details, but the bottom line is our first bike - the Edit - is now in production. It's been prototyped. It's been tested. It's been prototyped again. And tested again. And again. We took our time and we didn't pull the trigger on production until we were confident that it was completely dialled. The shocks are sorted, the build kits are set and everything is ready to go. 

The 100

There are 100 frames in the first shipment. That's the most we could afford to make at one time, bearing in mind that Airdrop is a genuinely independent brand. That means there's no big-money backing, or even any small-money backing for that matter. It took 12 years of saving to get to this point. We are, to borrow a phrase from poker, "all in". But that's how we wanted it to be: it's only when you're fully committed that you find out what you're really capable of.

We don't know what to expect. There has been a lot of interest on our Facebook and Instagram profiles, and word of mouth is spreading. Everyone who's been involved in the testing has loved how the bike rides, and plenty of people have asked if they can buy one. We know its a great bike, so it's possible that they will sell out quickly.

We're taking pre-orders now. If you want to be one of the first 100 riders on an Airdrop Edit, this is your chance. And you'd be helping us out too.

When Will They Arrive?

Production is due to complete in January. It will take a month to ship them here, then we're at the mercy of HMRC. If all goes well we will have frames in our hands at the end of February. We will keep this page and our social media profiles updated.

As soon as frames arrive, they will be given a final check and we'll assemble pre-orders and ship them on a first-come, first-served basis.

How Do I Place A Preorder?

All the products on the site are set up as pre-order items, so you just shop the site in the normal way. Instead of an "add to basket" button you'll see a "pre-oder" button, but apart from that it's business as usual. You'll receive an order confirmation and once your order is in, we'll keep in contact with you via email.
