We're closed for Xmas week - back on 30th Dec!

Our limited edition series is a way for us to try out cool ideas and build bikes in interesting new ways. As a small brand we can't always do full production runs but what we can do is put together sick bikes in small batches like this. And for a few lucky customers, there's an opportunity to get a custom built bike that's both rare and unique.
The Fade Öhlins bike is something really quite special. Öhlins don't normally offer a dirt jump fork but we've worked with them to custom build some of their RXF36 m.2 Air 27.5" forks at 90mm travel. That keeps the Fade's geometry spot-on and allows you to benefit from all the performance of this legendary fork. And with the Swedish Gold logo up front, we carried the colour-coding through the rest of the bike from the custom matte decals to the bullion gold stem. That's all pointing out the obvious really. Best thing to do is just look at it...

We know a lot of people are planning (and hoping) to get a Fade for Christmas. So we've booked stock and build slots in early December, and we're giving you plenty of advanced notice (not to mention a heavy discount). Order now to secure your stock for Christmas.
This picture speaks for itself really.
The Öhlins RXF36 fork is one of - possibly the - best forks out there, bar none. Is it a bit too much for a dirt jump bike? Possibly. But is it awesome? Definitely. The whole point of our Limited Edition series is to do bikes that we're inspired to build, bikes that other brands couldn't or wouldn't dare do. Bikes that your mates don't have.
We've pulled in a new decal colour and finish for this bike; Matte Öhlins yellow matches up to the fork decals nicely.
Notice the gold anodised topcap on the fork's air spring? It's a perfect match for Burgtec Bullion Gold. It would have been criminal not to include a bit of bling to pull the colour scheme together. We make no secret of our stoke for all things Burgtec, but we haven't taken it too far... that bit of gold lustre on the stem is just right.
As with the Fade Works, we fit the Burgtec Josh Bryceland signature RideHigh bar in 50mm rise. It's pictured at 800mm which is how they come as standard, but we're more than happy to trim them down when we build your bike. Just let us know how you like 'em.
While we're here, it's worth adding that the SRAM Level T hydraulic brake lever can be flipped so whether you prefer to run your lever UK or Euro style, it's all good. Again, let us know and we'll set up your bike accordingly. The Fade's hose guides run centrally on the underside of the toptube so it works just as well either way. Because we designed it that way.
We don't sell bikes with pedals because they're such a personal thing. But it's pictured here with Burgtec's Mk4 composite pedal in black, which is our favourite for a dirtjump or pumptrack bike. And we're offering these at just £30 (saving you £15) when you buy a set with the bike.
The drivetrain features a Descendant 170mm alloy crank running on a DUB threaded bottom bracket and our own CNC 28t chainring. The gearing is 28-11 which is a 2.55 ratio. We ldid consider a gold chain but in the end opted for the Slink 1/2 link in black, and we think it works really well.
The wheelset is from Reverse Components. People are sleeping on these but when they figure out how good they are, we reckon they'll become firm favourites. The Base SS hub is tried and tested but the new wheelset comes with a BlackOne rim with a 30mm (internal) width. Unlike more traditional DJ wheelsets it's perfect for the higher volume tyres we like to run these days. In this case we're fitting Maxxis DTH.
Clean.
We don't normally photograph a bike from the non-drive side. Apparently it's against 'the rules' (driveside-on, valves vertical, cranks level). But b******s to that. Let's just take a moment to appreciate the stance of this bike because it's a thing of beauty. I would say that wouldn't I. But I hope you agree.
At Airdrop we have a simple ethos and it's to build bikes that we are proud of. This is one of those bikes.
